Economic development touches everyone in our community from the newborn baby who has outstanding care at a local hospital, to our young people who have great schools, to our business men and women hoping to build a better life for their families, to the seniors wanting a quality retirement and safe community.  It touches you and those you care about.

As a member of the Vicksburg-Warren Economic Development Foundation, you have an important role and a voice in Vicksburg's growth, development, and quality of life. 

Recent examples of our work are:

• Extra welding training at Hinds to reduce welder shortages caused by the LeTourneau reopening.

• Getting the road raised at LeTourneau, saving many man-hours and layoffs when the river is high.

• Saving over 20 jobs when Raychem announced their closing by inviting a new industry into their facilities.

These are real-world examples of how our members bring challenges to the forefront and solutions to the table.

We have a place for every business and every skill set.   We participate in several trade shows, conferences, and business expansion expositions annually to get the public excited about Vicksburg.
